A project of the Garden Club of Montclair, the Avis Campbell Gardens are situated at the rear of the local United Way building and are named for a noted Montclair landscape designer and gardener. The gardens include a centerpiece fountain, perennials, and extensive rose plantings. There is also a memorial garden to the victims of September 11, 2001.
