This series contains a variety of types of documents, including award certificates, appointment calendars, chronologies, resumes, clippings, and medical, governmental, and military records. The appointment calendars will be of particular interest to researchers since they document the complex scheduling that was required to keep Sheets aware of the numerous deadlines, meetings, and teaching commitments that made up his daily routine. Multiple copies of calendars reflect the system used to keep his staff and family aware of his whereabouts and activities on any particular day, especially since Sheets maintained several residences and work locations.
Arrangement note:
The files are arranged chronologically.
