The records of Nordness Gallery, Inc. and Lee Nordness Galleries Art Advisory Services, Inc. document the exhibitions and sales of artwork of the galleries' artists, and the development and organization of various projects with corporations and museums through correspondence, artist's files, project files, business and legal records, financial and sales records, inventories, printed materials, scrapbooks, and photographic materials.
Because materials from Nordness Gallery and Art Advisory Section were frequently interfiled, the records are found together in one series. In addition, "Nordness Gallery" was occasionally used on letterhead and legal documents after it had closed. Researchers should use dates and context as necessary to discover related materials.
