This collection consists of four folders of correspondence and official papers generated during Wallace Peters's military service.
Biographical / Historical:
Lieutenant Heber Wallace Peters was a member of the American Flying Service in France during World War I. He received flying instruction in Tours and Chateauroux and completed his training in Issoudun, where he became a flight instructor himself. Attached to the 33rd Aero Squadron, he was stationed in Bordeaux for a time after the Armistice before returning to the States.
