Scope and Contents:
This collection consists of fifteen prints and a videotape of stills relating to the service of the 389th Bomb Group during World War II, including images of Consolidated B-24 Liberators both on the ground and in the air.
Biographical / Historical:
The 389th Bomb Group operated from Hethel, England from 1943-1945 except for two brief periods: operation from Bengasi, Libya, July-August 1943; and operation from Massicult, Tunisia, September-October 1943
