This collection contains a 1918 yearbook from Ellington Field, Houston, Texas and a scrapbook belonging to Brody which contains personal snapshots and photographs of World War I aircraft and pilots. Note: The digital images in this finding aid were repurposed from scans made by an outside contractor for a commercial product and may show irregular cropping and orientation in addition to color variations resulting from damage to and deterioration of the original objects.

Biographical / Historical:
James W. Brody was a private in the US Army Air Service during World War I. In 1918 he was stationed at Ellington Field, Texas and was discharged from service in 1919.
